Student Eligibility Test From Weaker Areas (SEWA 2015-16)

Rules and Regulations for SEWA 2015-16:

1] Purpose: The purpose of this exam is to identify the talented students from economically weaker families of rural areas of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand and provide them an excellent platform of education (Preparation of IIT/PMT, state medical & Engineering entrance test and their college fees) free of cost, by which they can also be able to play their role in the development of our this beloved nation, and ultimately we will achieve the motto-“Paraspar Bhawyantu”

2] Selection Process: The selection process will be completed in two stages- Stage I: A written/Objective test of 120 marks [120 questions in 120 minutes] will be organized based on the board exam syllabus of eligible students. All the students appeared in this exam securing 60% or above marks in this exam will be said to as ‘PASS’.

Stage II: In second stage, a merit list will be prepared of all the ‘PASS’ students of stage I securing minimum 60% marks in their board exam result. 40 to 80 marks will be allotted to the students for their board exam marks as below—

91% to 100% 71 to 80

Now a final merit list will be prepared of 200 marks (120 Marks of stage I and 80 marks of stage II) and top 100 students will be selected for SEWA 2015-16.

3] Probable study Centre: Kota, Allahabad, Gorakhpur, Greater Noida, Meerut, Patna, Varanasi.

4] Test Centres, Test Dates and final result declaration: Test centres will be finalized in such a manner by which all the aspirants can show their talent very easily. Stage I exam will be scheduled just after the board exams by which students can participates with free mind. Final merit list will be declared probably in the month of June, just after the board exam results.

5] Eligibility for this Exam: All the students studying in class 10th, 11th and 12th in Science, Math, Biology, Art or commerce in this year 2015-16 can participates in this exam SEWA 2015-16.

6] Exam Fee: Every interested student will pay Rs 200 registration fees and fill registration form. Completely filled Form will be submitted in Principal office before closing date.
